aLinks is a free wordpress plugin that allows you to setup and manage keyword and key phrase hot links in your blog posts.
Example:
Key phrase: make money online
Description: tips and tactics for making money online.
URL: http://www.allschwag.com/blog
aLinks then will scan all my blog posts looking for the key phrase “make money online” and create a link pointing to my blog.
Expand aLinks with modules.
aLinks users have created some modules for specific functions like turning your links into Clickbank Products using the Clickbank module. Some other modules that have been created are, eBay, Google News, iTunes, and Commission Junction.
What aLinks does not do.
aLinks does a great job at automatically creating links however it will only create links in your blog posts and not in your comments. aLinks also does not cloak links to outside sources such as your affiliate links.
Application of aLinks
aLinks is definitely a powerful and useful plugin. Using aLinks you could hot link to your blog’s front page so people reading your blog by feed could potentially visit your blog more often.
